about

too much rock & roll

a story about rock & roll, fashion and life in Manchester and beyond.

Anthony Donnelly was born in Ardwick Green, Manchester, and raised in Benchill Wythenshawe. His first loves were football, fashion and music. Anthony went onto creating the North's first Acid House parties, his own clothing labels, before adding live events into the equation.

Having had the front cover of Vogue and The Times Style magazine, he came second in Sir Richard Branson's The Financial Times 'Fast Track 100' with GioGoi. He also produced the MTV's most-watched ever documentary, 24 hours With Pete Doherty.

Anthony is now an author, publisher and president of his own group. He most recently collaborated with Manchester City FC on an official kit with his Madchester and MDCR brands and with Umbro on a World Cup range with GioGoi.

“I have no qualifications, just a self-belief anything is possible with determination and hard work.”
